A bit of a twist on the classic Poinsettia cocktail. These ingredients combined can yield approximately six servings. 

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup of preferred champagne or prosecco
  • ¾ cup of vodka
  • Two ounces of elderflower liquor
  • 1 ½ cups of pomegranate or cranberry juice
  • One cup of cranberries (fresh, not dried)
  • Rosemary or pomegranate for garnish

Instructions

  • Combine juice, vodka, elderberry liquor, and cranberries in a pitcher and chill overnight. Chilling overnight is optional but recommended if you want to let the cranberries soak in the alcohol mixture. 
  • When you’re ready to drink, pour the contents from the pitcher into a champagne glass, top with champagne or prosecco, garnish and enjoy!

Bourbon Fizz

Warm up for the holidays with this cocktail recipe containing homemade spiced syrup and all the maple goodness! 

Ingredients for spiced syrup (6 servings)

  • Two cinnamon sticks 
  • ½ cup of water
  • Zest of an orange 
  • One star anise
  • ½ cup of maple syrup (dark preferred for flavor but not necessary)
  • One tablespoon of cardamom pods
  • One inch of sliced fresh ginger

Ingredients for bourbon fizz

  • 1 ½ ounces of preferred bourbon
  • One to two dashes of orange bitters
  • Two tablespoons of lemon juice
  • Two tablespoons of the spiced syrup 
  • Champagne to fill 

Instructions

  • Bring to a boil all the ingredients needed (except orange zest) for the syrup along with ½ cup of water in a medium pot. This should take approximately 3 minutes. 
  • After 3 minutes, remove the syrup from the heat, add the orange zest, and stir. 
  • Add up to two tablespoons of the spiced syrup to a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the lemon juice, bourbon, and bitters and shake. Strain into a glass and top with champagne. Use a sliced orange for garnish, and enjoy!
